Beneath Our Wires

Click to embiggen.While sitting on the street at a bar in Sayulita, Mexico I looked up and was reminded of my love affair with power lines and how they intersect our view and our worlds.

We are a generation who has grown up accustomed to the idea that our view will have lines running across it, disecting our world into tiny little parts and seperating the sky from the skyline.  I find myself focusing on those very power lines making them the focus of the image and the world around them the little segments they are.

I feel my winter project coming on.
